For months, my family was going through serious stress, and I didn’t know what was causing it.

Every morning, my kids woke up sneezing like they inhaled pepper. My husband was always coughing, and my own nose was blocked 24/7.

To make things worse, my body itched non-stop, especially at night.

At first, I thought it was a normal allergy—maybe dust or something. So I changed our soap, bought different creams, and even gave my children cough syrup. But the problem didn’t stop.

Then one night, something happened that made me sit up and take action.

I was in my daughter’s room, trying to put her to sleep. But she kept tossing and turning, scratching her body and rubbing her nose.

Then she whispered, “Mummy, I can’t sleep. My nose is blocked again.”

I looked at her helpless face, and I knew I couldn’t ignore this problem anymore.

One day I was at my cousin’s house where I met her friend who was telling us about her son and all of the treatments they had used to deal with his eczema and itches.

So, she recommended we see a specialist who deals with allergies.

On getting there, we got tested and the specialist found out that we had an allergy to dust mites.

I couldn’t believe it took me this long to figure out dust mite allergy was the underlying issue.

After all the pains of sleepless nights due to nasal congestions, discomfort and lack of confidence because of the skin issues.

Dust mites were living in our mattresses, pillows, and sofas, causing all our sneezing, itching, and blocked noses. 

And the worst part? Ordinary sweeping and mopping cannot remove them!

Ha! I was disgusted.

All this time, we had been sleeping with invisible pests making us sick!
